About Me
Hello, my name is Cole Hauser. I am a secondary education major with a concentration in marine biology at the University of New England in Biddeford Maine. I am from Andover Massachusetts. Teaching has been a passion of mine for quite some time now. I struggled a lot in middle school and high school so my passion lies in making these years enjoyable and informative for the future generations. I find science so interesting since it explains all of the phenomena that happens around us everyday. I hope to share this love for science and teaching with those I meet and teach about the world I love!
Outside of teaching I have a plethora of hobbies. I am an avid bird watcher in my free time and am the current president of the UNE Birders here on campus. Outside of birding I am a huge nature fan and often find myself the happiest when I am outside. I am also a big reader and as some would say “nerd”. My favorite books include the Lord of the Rings series, and Dune. I also partake in nerdy hobbies such as playing Magic the Gathering or Dungeons and Dragons. I am also a novice photographer. I mainly take photos of birds and other nature related objects. I also enjoy listening to and playing music. I am pretty ok at the bass guitar and love jamming out!
